Instructions:

Thank you for purchasing my driver shaft. I am sure you will be very pleased with its performance. Although the assembly is quite simple I have outlined my recommendations for installation. Read noted below before proceeding.

(1) This shaft is symmetrical, so it doesn't matter which end is "front".
(2) Put the front boom bearing (L0-262) on the end of the drive shaft.
(3) Push on the T/R pinion gear until it is flush with the end of the drive shaft.
(4) Install this drive shaft assembly into the front of the tail boom until the bearing seats into the boom.
(5) The rear boom bearing can be put on now if you are using a reduced flange bearing. If not, you will need to put the tail gear box on first.
(6) Wiggle both ends of the shaft to allow the bearings to square up to the boom.
(7) Apply a small drop of CA to the flange/boom area of both bearings, don't over do it.
(8) Push on the tail bevel gear until it just touches the rear bearing.
(9) Install the boom in the body and adjust front and back gear lashes.

Notes:
(a) It is recommended that blue loctite is carefully applied to retain the bearings to the drive shaft.
(b) This drive shaft does not require a center bearing>
(c) If your gears, pinion or bevel gears are loose, use thin CA very carefully to glue them to the shaft.
(d) Be careful the drive shaft does not extend through the rear bevel gear and rub on the T/R output shaft.
Due to varying lengths of tail booms, you may need to have a little drive shaft extend through the front bevel gear resolve this.
